Servicing and Repairs

 The Midlands Amp & Guitar Company provide professional servicing, repairs, upgrades, modification and customisation for your equipment. With over 30 years experience with pro-audio equipment, guitar amplifiers and guitar electronics, we can give the best advice on getting the very best from your amplification, pedals and guitars.

We have extensive experience with most classic and boutique amplifiers - Marshall, Fender, Vox, Ampeg, Selmer, WEM, Traynor, Kelly, Dumble, Bludotone, Dr Z, Toneking, Two Rock, Blackstar and many more.

Servicing starts at £40 for an initial check over, diagnosis and PAT test to ensure the equipment is safe to work on and to use. Further work is charged at £25 per half hour plus parts.

Regular PAT testing of equipment is a requirement of many shows, tours and events, and for older gear it provides peace of mind that all is safe and well. We can PAT test your gear for £25 for the first item plus £7 for each further item up to a total of six. This covers, insulation, earth bonding (where applicable), correct wiring of plugs, correct fuses and a visual inspection. If you’d prefer to have the testing done on site we can offer this. Travel is charged at £40 per hour.
